This is God Breathed Revival

A God-Breathed Revival
I truly believe we are standing at the edge of a God-breathed revival—words I have never spoken before. I don’t believe we’ve seen a genuine, sweeping revival in the last couple of generations. Yes, there have been planned events labeled “revivals.” Yes, there have been powerful pockets where God has moved. And yes, Jesus Christ has never stopped building His Church, saving the lost, and transforming lives. But there are rare seasons when God moves on the hearts of His people on a large scale, drawing multitudes back to Himself.
I believe we are entering one of those seasons.

The Singular Mark of True Revival
What marks a genuine, God-breathed revival? It’s almost a trick question—because while many blessings flow from revival, there is only one key trait: repentance.

When God breathes on His Church, the result is widespread repentance.
When His presence truly manifests, the result is repentance.
When the Holy Spirit grips human souls, the result is repentance.

This isn’t emotionalism flooding the front of church stages. This is life-altering, heart-changing, existence-transforming repentance:

It looks like...
  • The lost turning from sin, weeping over wasted years, and running to God for mercy—committing to Jesus as Lord forever.
  • Believers repenting of casual Christianity—grieving that they have treated Christ as an accessory to a life of comfort.
  • Those trapped in besetting sin—confessing, repenting, and turning to follow Christ wholeheartedly.
  • The proud, the ambitious, the self-centered—weeping at Jesus’ feet, surrendering their idols of ego and control.
  • The greedy and materialistic—recognizing the idolatry of mammon and laying it down forever at the altar of Christ.
  • The spiritually proud and self-appointed judges—realizing their religious feats mask a lack of real relationship with Jesus.
  • Those enslaved by lust, pornography, or adultery—running to the secret place with the Father, confessing, and being healed.
  • The embittered and unforgiving—mourning their hardness of heart, repenting of slander and gossip, and seeking reconciliation.
  • Pastors and leaders—acknowledging where we have drifted from Christ’s mission to make disciples of all nations, repenting, and returning to our Shepherd’s call.

This is a revival that purifies the Church through repentance.

The Fruit on the Other Side of Repentance
The personal fruit of repentance is beyond what we can fully grasp: transformation, holiness, righteousness, joy, contentment, and peace that surpasses understanding. God reshapes hearts, desires, and mindsets.

Like Isaiah in chapter 6—when the presence of God filled the temple—repentance is the only response. But on the other side of repentance comes a cry: “Here I am. Send me!”
This is where consumer Christianity dies. People trade shopping carts for crosses. They stop asking, “How can this church serve me?” and start asking, “Where is God moving, and how can I pour myself out for His glory? How can my whole life advance the kingdom of heaven?”

This is where long-dormant callings become inescapable. Where witnesses are born—living, breathing testimonies of Jesus’ transforming power. Where the forgiven no longer hide their past but hold it up as proof of the cross’s sufficiency. Under the blood of Christ, shame turns into a story that magnifies grace.

When God breathes on His Church, attenders become disciples, and disciples ignite eternity-changing impact everywhere they go.

Don’t Miss This Moment
I truly believe we are watching the first sparks of revival and life-altering repentance. Let’s embrace this moment with all our hearts—lay everything down at Jesus’ feet and follow Him completely.

On the other side of repentance lies freedom, transformation, purpose, and power.
Don’t miss this move of God.
