Faith reaches out for Jesus in every situation, not just the desperate ones.

Faith is God's chosen instrument for releasing His power. Your lack of faith doesn't diminish Jesus' power or willingness to help, but it does prevent you from bringing your needs to Him. Jesus could do no mighty works in Nazareth not because He lost power, but because no one brought their problems to Him in faith.

God will form faith in you through uncomfortable circumstances. Just as Jesus sent the disciples out without provisions to teach them dependence, God allows and sometimes causes situations in our lives that disconnect us from comfort, resources, and backup plans—not to punish us, but to teach us to cry out to Him and trust Him more deeply.

Faith always reaches out for Jesus. Whether you're facing sin, sickness, financial crisis, marriage struggles, or wayward children, faith compels you to bring everything to Jesus rather than handling it with your own wisdom, resources, or strength. The woman with the issue of blood teaches us that faith causes us to reach, crawl, and cry out to get to Jesus.
